Joshua Gurlen Obituary
Joshua worked in retail and loved watching sports, comic books, and playing video games. He especially loved his nieces and nephews and took great joy from their presence in his life.
Surviving are siblings: Robert McFarland, Anita (James) Freeman, Jesse (Nikki) Gurlen, and brother-in-law Jim Faughn, all of Poplar Bluff, Shane Glover of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Shannon Gurlen, of Bloomfield, MO. Nephews: Daniel Faughn of Poplar Bluff, Logan (Sam) Freeman of Kansas City, MO. Nieces: Zoe Freeman, Addison Gurlen, and Jessie Gurlen, all of Poplar Bluff. Also, Step-Father, Gary Beckham, of Poplar Bluff, and Great-Nephew, Kaiden Freeman of Kansas City, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings; Kevin Gurlen, Kelly Faughn, and nephew Kayson Gurlen.
A celebration of life will be held in the Hampton Inn Westwood Room in Poplar Bluff on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
