In Loving Memory of Joshua Michael Cloud Hernandez

Joshua Michael Cloud Hernandez, affectionately known as Joshie or Sguash Uwa, age 28, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at Avow Hospice in Naples.

A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held in his honor at Veterans Community Park in Naples, FL, on November 8th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friends and family are invited to come together to remember and celebrate Joshua's life.

Born on June 15,1997, in Naples, Florida, Joshua was the beloved son of Ellen Morales and attended Barron Collier High School. A passionate gamer, he enjoyed playing on his PS5 and cherished moments spent with friends and family over shared meals and watching anime. Joshua found joy and fulfillment in cooking and brought laughter to those around him, especially during his time with his work family at Bahama Breeze, IHOP, and Twin Peaks.

Joshua is survived by his cherished daughter, Athena Hernandez, his loving mother, Ellen Morales, stepfather, Carlos Morales, and grandmother, Manuela Solis. He is also survived by his sisters, Judith Guadalupe, Natasha Ziegler, and Faith Taylor, as well as his beloved nieces, Deanna Marie Taylor and Eliana Genoveva Taylor, and nephews, Damian James Taylor, Jeadin A. Corea, Pablo Perez Jr., Charles J. Morales, Luca Montgomery, and Kenji Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his brother, Caleb Anastacio Eagle Hernandez.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Caroline Keogh, Naima Jeune, Alfonsa Guadalupe, Le'Ann Ziegler, Bobby Dehnz, Julia Rodriguez, Jasmine Williams, Ciara Bennis, the dedicated staff, nurses, and doctors at Naples Community Hospital, Baker Hospital, and Avow Hospice. Their support and care were invaluable during Joshua's final weeks. The family is also deeply thankful to everyone, including the members of the Naples Christian Church congregation, who donated to Joshua's fight.

Joshua's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be profoundly missed.
