Joshua Ryan Kennedy, 42, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. Josh had a passion for music and adventure. When hunting, fishing, or playing sports, Josh embraced every moment. His energy and joy were evident in everything he did, especially when in the company of his nieces and nephews, and his favorite cousin, Courtney.
He was born on November 3, 1981 in New Albany, Indiana to Cullen (Tara) Kennedy and Brenda Kennedy-Snyder.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his siblings: Jeremy (Jennifer) Kennedy, Jason (Cara) Kennedy, Olivia (Max) Dryer, Brent Kennedy, and Lindsey Kennedy; Nieces and Nephews, Lexi Kennedy, Layni Kennedy, Julian Kennedy, Luci Kennedy, Cash Kennedy, Joseph Dryer, and Lily Dryer; stepfather, Brad Snyder, his Grandmothers, Anita Collins and Kay Snyder; and Stepsisters Allie Robinson McClellan and Abbey Coffey.
A gathering will be at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) on Thursday, August 8th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. His Memorial Service will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 9th at 11:00am.
