Joshua Kuzma Obituary

Joshua Kuzma, 21, beloved son and only child of Michelle M. Kuzma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Joshua was born in Erie on September 3, 2003.
Joshua enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after graduating high school in 2022. He was very proud to serve as a Marine. He was in Truck Company, 25th Regiment,
4th Marine Division
Marine Forces Reserve.
Joshua's life was shaped by the closeness and love he had with his large extended family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Linda (McQuaid) Kuzma, Aunts Mary Lynn Kuzma and Kimberly Kidd (Dan), Uncle's Michael Kuzma II (Elizabeth), Fr. John Paul Kuzma, O.F.M. Cap., and Paul Kuzma. Cousins Margaret, Amelia, Josephine, Maria, Matthew, Andrew, Stephen, and Michael John III whom he was especially close to. Joshua is also survived by his father Charles E. Frazier, paternal grandmother Frankie Mae Williams, and half siblings Kendra E. Frazier and Tru H. Frazier.
Joshua had many loves including riding his motorcycle and the friends and community he rode with. He had a passion for creating music (beats), he loved his dogs, sunsets, Legos, roller coasters, nature, and helping others. He was so loved and will be so missed.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church 421 E. 38th St. Erie, PA 16504 on Tuesday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
A wake will be held directly following the funeral at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish 1531 E. Grandview Blvd. Erie, PA 16510 in the multi Purpose Room, Main Entrance of School/Hall. All are welcome.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.
