Joshua A. Mailloux

Joshua A. Mailloux age 30 of Auburn Maine died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday September 18th, 2024. He was born in Lewiston on August 11,1994 and grew up in Turner Maine with his parents Peggy Sue Gagnon/Mike Mailloux and his older brother Jake Mailloux.
First and foremost, Josh was the best daddy to his two beautiful daughters, Jaylynn and Mariana. Even though Josh started a family at the young age of 19, he always was comfortable with the role of being a good dad. When offered help with his first diaper change, he confidently replied with "I got this". He had a special bond with his girls and always made sure they had everything they needed.
Josh was generally quiet but had a witty sense of humor with good timing. He loved animals of all kinds, he had two cats, a hamster, a few reptiles, and a large fish tank that you can tell he took a lot of pride in. He enjoyed anything outdoors: riding his motorcycle with friends and his father, fishing, bonfires, camping, paddle boarding and making extravagant sandcastle cities with his girls at the beach.
Josh was well liked by the folks he worked with at the Auburn Housing Authority. He loved the variety of work and interacting with the many tenants.
Josh had a kind soul that touched the lives of all who knew him and will be missed by everyone he encountered. He leaves behind an unwavering love for his daughters. Josh is survived by his daughters Jaylynn and Mariana Mailloux, parents Peggy Sue Gagnon and Mike Mailloux, older brother Jake Mailloux and fiancé Kelsey Martin, Pepere Armand Gagnon Sr., girlfriend Cassandra Damon, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Josh was predeceased by Memere Marilyn Gagnon and Memere and Pepere Shirley and Maurice Mailloux.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
In memory of our beloved Josh, it's important to always check in on the ones you love, and more importantly listen. Because everyone is struggling with a battle you may not know about. As Josh was to everyone, always be kind.
