Sumner Funeral and Cremation Lakeside - HendersonvilleJoshua “Tyler” Neely, age 30 of Joelton passed away on Friday June 20, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center.
He was born June 22, 1994 in Nashville, TN. A carpenter by trade, Tyler spent his working career in the construction industry working with his dad Richard Neely. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his friends but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved family. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor, and most of all his kind heart. Tyler delighted his family and friends with his warm-hearted spirit and caring personality, leaving a lasting legacy of love, and cherished memories.
He was preceded in death by his beloved Father Richard Thomas Neely, maternal grandparents Anthony Monroe Fultz and Paula Leigh Fultz. Paternal grandparents Peter LeRoy Neely and Margaret Ann Neely and cousin Corey Smith.
Tyler is survived by his beloved mother Tara Neely, Sisters: Brittany Kurdy, Kayla Neely, Taryn Neely, brothers in law: Ben Kurdy and JT Turner, niece: Nova Turner and nephew: Myles Turner. Uncle: Tony (Leigh) Fultz, Aunts: Traci Anderson, Karen Cushman, Amy Bozzelli, Cindy (Ricky) McCormick and Dana (David) Clark. Cousins: Ryan Bozzelli, Heather (Nicholas) Harbin, Katelyn (Jesse) Rains, Alex (Sierra) Anderson, Ashleigh Anderson, Brandon Fultz, Austin Fultz, Liam Bell, Autumn Self, Zach (Logan) Self, Vicky Smith, Christen Smith, Matthew Clark, JC (Taylor) Cushman, Nick Cushman, Colt (Deana) McCormick and Cale McCormick and life long friends Donny and Angel Judkins.
