Carol L. Neely, 92, formerly of 1179 High St. Bradford, passed away, Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born February 11, 1933, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Leon P. and Imogene B. (Stoutenburg) Bentley. Carol graduated from Bradford High School in 1951.
On April 25, 1952, in Bradford, she married James W. Neely who preceded her in death on January 12, 2014.
Carol worked at Loblaws, and Propers. She owned and operated Carols Florist in Bradford for many years, and before retiring she was a floral designer at Bloomers.
Carol was an active member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, the Kinzua Quilters, the Tuesday Quilters Group and she was an avid bridge player.
Surviving are three sons, Lynn (Amy) Neely, of Olean NY, Scott (Maria) Neely, of Lewis Run, and Jack (Mary Ellen) Neely of Bradford, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim of 62 years, one grandson, Cole Neely, and one brother, Howard (Lorraine) Bentley.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10 am to 11 am in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where at 11 am funeral services will be held with Rev. Ron Spencer former pastor of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church officiating.
Memorial contributions if desired may be made to McKean County SPCA PO Box 113 Bradford, PA 16701, Bradford Library, or the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
