Joshua Oxendine Obituary
Joshua Dustin Oxendine, age 44, of Westlake, Louisiana, passed away on July 13th, 2025. He was born on May 14th, 1981 in Plano, Texas. He is the son of John Oxendine Jr. and the late Peggy Garner.
Joshua was an employee with Turner Industries. He enjoyed weightlifting, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
Joshua is survived by his father, John Oxendine Jr.; one sister, Krista Oxendine Guillory; his fiancé, Sharlene Theriot; two nieces, Amanda Guillory and Ashley Guillory; three Great Nephews, Baylen Guillory, Rhiver Brown and Airrow Brown; three Great Nieces, Mya Phillips, Alaina Guillory and Layla Guillory.
Joshua was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Garner; grandfather, John Oxendine Sr.; Grandmother, Emma Lou Oxendine, Aunt, Elora Oxendine, and Nephew, Austin Guillory.
Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.
A memorial service to celebrate Joshua's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings, Louisiana. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
