It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Addilynn Marie Baquet,8, who passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA.
A Private Ceremony will be held at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jennings, LA with a Graveside Service to follow at the Raymond Methodist Cemetery in Hathaway, LA.
Born in Lafayette, LA on May 19, 2017, Addilynn was the sweetest child. She made a lasting impression on the lives of everyone around her, including her nurses, teachers and especially her family. Addilynn was very passionate about music and loved to dance. She always loved to spend time outdoors. Her soul will always be felt in the breeze and seen in the sunshine. Although she was taken from this world too soon, her memory and spirit has left such a beautiful mark on the hearts of so many.
Addilynn is survived by parents, Patrick and Haley; her brothers, Bennett and Colt; her grandparents, Jake and Joy Owensby, Coleman and Tammy Burson, Stephanie Reeves and Shannon Everett; her great grandparents, John and Dianne Reeves; her aunts, Meredith Owensby and Makenna Oshefsky; her uncles, Andrew Owensby and Drew Burson.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Bobby Burson and Carolyn Burson.
Her family would like to give a special thanks to the Nurses, Teachers and Staff at the Central Louisiana Supports and Services Center.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Matthews Funeral Home JENNINGS, 511 N Cutting Ave Jennings, LA 70546
