Joshua Philbrook

Joshua Lynn Philbrook, 31, of Ames, passed away November 29 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. Visitation is 5-7 Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 2 also at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Fjeldberg Cemetery. Josh was born September 11, 1980, in Ames, to William and Sue (Thorsbakken) Philbrook. He was a 1999 graduate of Ballard High School and was a lead HVAC installation journeyman at Converse Conditioned Air in Ames where he had worked for 4 years. Josh is survived by his mother, Sue Philbrook, of Ames; two sons, Nicholas Anthony and Tyler William, of Ames; partner, Abby Essing, of Ames; grandmothers, June Thorsbakken, of Ames, and Lois Philbrook, of Kamrar; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William Philbrook; grandfathers, Charles Thorsbakken and Robert Philbrook; and cousin, Jeremy Longnecker.
