Pastor Josh Spurgeon, age 43, a devoted man of God, a loving Husband and father, entered Heavens Gates on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Josh was a devoted preacher and teacher of the word of God and was strongly influenced by his father, Nicky Spurgeon. He pastored Trinity Baptist Church for six years, where he loved deeply and fulfilled his calling to the church congregation. Everyone that attended was special to him. Josh also had a strong passion for Basketball and was a coach for the Smoky Mountain Basketball team.

The family wishes to say a very special "Thank You" to everyone who was there until the very end with his family, and everyone at Trinity Baptist Church whom he loved dearly.
The Family will receive friends 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025, at Manes Funeral Home.
