Joshua "Goose" Vida II, 3, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024, after a battle with cancer in the warm embrace of his mother and father's arms, surrounded by his siblings, family, and friends. Goose was a beautiful, resilient, and bright little boy who loved his family so much. If he wasn't outside chasing his chickens and ducks, he was inside dancing to his favorite songs. To say he was loved would be a great understatement. Goose leaves behind his siblings, Daniel Vida, Gaia Castrop, Aurora Vida, Joseph Vida, and Montana Vida; his parents, Joshua Sr. and Aliyah Vida; his grandparents, Karen Vida, Todd Johnson, Lester Vida, Amy Allen, and Daniel Allen Sr; and his aunts and uncles, Molly Allen (Ryan), Daniel Allen II, Shane Allen, and Hayley Allen. Everyone will always deeply cherish the time they spent with him. A Memorial Service for Goose will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, April 13, at the Church of the Nazarene. Visitation begins at 10 am. Following the service a luncheon will take place at the church. Those planning an expression of sympathy please have all flowers delivered directly to the church.
