Joshua B. Webb Sr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joshua B. Webb Sr., of Whaleyville, Maryland, who departed this life on February 5, 2026, at the age of 83. A beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend, Joshua was born on November 30, 1942, in Bishopville, Maryland, to the late Virgil J. Webb and Catherine Mitchell Webb.

Joshua dedicated much of his professional life to hard work and service to his community. He spent many years working in the grain and oil refinery industry, proudly serving in maintenance for Perdue, and later worked at NAPA, where he was known for his dependability, knowledge, and willingness to help others. He was admired not only for his strong work ethic, but also for his unwavering faith as a devoted Christian. Above all else, Joshua was known as "Pop" to those closest to him, and his family was the center of his world. He found his greatest joy in time spent with them. His warm spirit, gentle nature, and kind heart touched everyone who knew him. He lived with humility, compassion, and quiet strength, always placing faith and family first.

Joshua is survived by his son, Joshua B. Webb Jr., and his wife Michelle; his daughter, Victoria Corrado, and her husband Raphael; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom he cherished deeply. He is also survived by his brother, Virgil L. Webb, as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him with love. His legacy of devotion to family, kindness, and steadfast faith will continue to live on through the generations he leaves behind.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary L. Webb, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion and with whom he now rests peacefully.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home, 19 S. Main Street, Selbyville, DE where family and friends may visit beginning at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Showell Volunteer Fire Department, 11620 Worcester Highway, Showell, MD 21862, or the Berlin American Legion Post #123.
