Josiah Tomlinson

Josiah (Joe) Tomlinson of Langhorne, Pa passed to his next life on October 9, 2025. Joe was a lifelong resident of Langhorne. He was a business owner for over 35 years in Newtown, Pa. Joe was known for his kind, generous, caring nature by all who knew him. Always willing to help anyone in need. Joe served in the Army in Germany as a helicopter crew chief. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alyce Bridge, stepfather Charles Bridge, father Herbert Tomlinson, brothers George Gessner and Robert Tomlinson. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Barber & John Nogel, of Lancaster, Pa, Daughter Deborah Schofield, Granddaughters, Hope Gibbs, Anthony, Carrie Lankford, Meghan Noel and Jennifer Schofield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews many, many lifelong friends. Services for Joe will be held on Wednesday, October 22, from 10:00 to 11:00 at Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home 323 Washington Ave, Newtown, Pa 18940. With burial following at Newtown Cemetery, 600 Newtown-Yardley Rd, Newtown, Pa 18940 In lieu of flowers, Joe would love contributions made, in his name to, Bingos Foundation Cat shelter and rescue P.O Box 7130, Penndel, Pa19047 As we all know, Joe loved cats.
