Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on December 11, 2023.
Josue was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Dolores and Celina (Danaois) Tirado. He grew up with his nine siblings and was taught the value of hard work at a very young age.
Josue was a professional commercial mover for many years with Ralph Ferrera Moving. He later moved to Delaware after meeting his dear wife, Liz Santiago. Together they shared many happy years.
Josue was an avid sports fan, baseball being his favorite. He enjoyed watching the classic TV show the Honeymooners and trying his luck at the casino. He was devoted to the Lord and lived his life in service to Him. Josue, above all, was a family man. All his hard work was for the betterment of his family. He will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Josue was preceded in death by his siblings, Rosie, Raymond, David, Martha, Emily, and Naomi; and his wife, Liz.
He is survived by his children, Deborah (Manny), Cathy (Troy), and Joshua (Evelyn); his grandchildren, Catherine, Alexandra, Kevin, Lexi, Bianca, Devin, and Chelsea; and his great grandchildren, Zachary and Zayn. Josue is also survived by Liz's children, Deborah, Carmen, Kayliene, Louis and their families; his siblings, Elizabeth, Ruth, and Elias; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the service for Josue at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE, 19805, on Thursday, December 14 at 6:00 pm. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm Interment will take place privately.
