Joy C. Cantrelle, born on July 5, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana. Her life was marked by a profound dedication to both her professional and personal interests.
Joy was a valued member of the Oil Scout Association, where she enjoyed a successful career that allowed her to connect with others who shared her passion for the industry. Beyond her career, Joy found immense joy in reading and embraced life with a loving spirit that touched all those around her.
She is survived by her husband, Hank Cantrelle; her son, Trent Cantrelle (Kimberly Cantrelle); her sister, Cathy Castille Richard; and two beloved grandchildren. Joy is predeceased by her parents, Michael Castille and Marjorie Castille.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her love of life, and the mark she left on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A private service will be held to honor Joy's memory.
