Joy Lynn DeFord, age 61, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025, in Reese, Michigan. Born on September 27, 1964, in Bay City, Michigan, Joy was the beloved daughter of Gerald LeRoy and Joanne Lucille (Arnold) DeFord.
Joy built a successful career with Tsusho Toyota in Georgetown, Kentucky, where her dedication and work ethic were admired by colleagues. Outside of work, she embraced life with creativity and curiosity. She loved crocheting, exploring new destinations through travel, and had a passion for collecting gem stones.
Joy is survived by her brother, Gerald L. DeFord of Reese, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Joanne, and her brother, Joseph DeFord.
