Joy Beth (Schmidt) Honeycutt, 57, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on January 1, 2024, in Aurora, Indiana. She was born on January 16, 1966, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Joy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.
Joy is survived by her loving husband and best friend of over 40 years, Kennie Honeycutt; her children, David Honeycutt, and Adrianna (Annie) Honeycutt; her son-in-law, Bryan Welch; and her grandchildren, Gracie, Shawn, Kendall, Lexi, Bryan (Buster), Mason, and McKenna. She is also survived by her mother, Judy Schmidt, and her brothers, Rob (Julia) Schmidt and Kenny (Carol) Schmidt.
Joy was preceded in death by her daughter, Kendra Honeycutt, and her father, David Schmidt.
Joy attended East Central High School and was passionate about scrapbooking, genealogy, and taking care of her dogs. She enjoyed preserving memories through her scrapbooks and learning about her family history. She enjoyed caring for her dogs Cash, Chloe, Charlie, Angel, and Flash.
Friends will be received Monday, January 8, 2024, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN. 47001.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 pm with Pastor Tom Holt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, IN.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the family to cover the funeral cost.
Rullman Hunger Funeral Home in Aurora, Indiana, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Joy Honeycutt will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
