Perry Edward Tripp, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. A lifelong resident of White Oak, Perry was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished friend to many.
Survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Carla (née Jesse) Tripp. Loving father of Stacey (Doug) Farrell, Zack (Abbi) Tripp, and the late Michael Tripp. Adored grandfather "Papaw" of Baya Farrell. Dear brother of Ginny Tripp, Chuck (Debbie) Tripp, and the late Trudy Tripp. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will also be fondly remembered by his in-laws: Jan Englert, Barbie Beier, Kevin (Barb) Jesse, and Sheila (Denny) Dowers.
Perry was the son of the late Clarence and Martha (née Henson) Tripp. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Perry was affectionately known by his friends as "Chumly," while many of Stacey's and Zack's friends fondly called him "Perr Dogg." He leaves behind a legacy of dedication and warmth that will be forever cherished by those who knew him.
He devoted more than 30 years of his life working as a painter with the IUPAT Union, where he was respected for his perfectionism and keen attention to detail. Perry was also a longtime member of the Sunrise Athletic Club for over 40 years where it served as a social cornerstone for his closest friendships.
In retirement, Perry found his greatest joys in the company of his beloved granddaughter Baya and his loyal dog, Peaches-who he called "Girlfriend." He enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including golfing, fishing, gardening, singing karaoke on Thursdays at Trio's, and spending time at "the farm" with friends.
Perry's kindness, sense of humor, and genuine nature touched everyone he met. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
A celebration of Perry "Chumly" Tripp's life will take place on Tuesday (July 22) at Club Trio, 5744 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, OH 45247 starting at 3pm. The family would like to welcome guests to join and share stories and reflect on the joy he brought to our lives.

I knew Perry from childhood. I was best friends with his sister, Ginny and spent alot of time at his parents home. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. Even though we haven't kept in touch over the years I always asked about him through his sister. May he rest in peace and many blessings to his family. Toni(Runyon) Niemeyer.
