Joy Lynn Kinsey

Joy Lynn Kinsey, 57, of Freehold Borough, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She was born on December 10, 1966 in Neptune Township, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Freehold, NJ. Joy was a graduate from York College of Pennsylvania and worked at Chicken Holiday (Freehold) / Chicken Town in Brick for 41 years, as well as Foodtown and Stop and Shop in Freehold for 13 years.
Joy was predeceased by her mother and father, Lucille Moore-Kinsey and Hollis Moore.
She is survived by her sister, Grethel Kinsey of Freehold, NJ; brother Guy Kinsey of Tinton Falls, NJ; brother Steven Eric Kinsey (Cheryl) of North Carolina; sister Camille York of Villa Rica, Georgia; sister Doreen E. York Smith (Eric) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and multiple nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn a large host of special aunts and uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives. She loved her family and friends greatly and took great pride in the lifelong relationships that she made in Freehold Borough and neighboring areas.
She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, loved traveling, and meeting up with old friends and coworkers in her spare time.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her viewing service on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, NJ 07728. The family requests that flowers be omitted, and any donations can be sent to Grethel Kinsey.
