Joyce M. Althouse, age 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Luther Acres in Lititz PA.
She was born Feb. 17, 1927 in Allentown,PA. She was preceded in death by husbands: Jack Nonnemacher, Alson Dahlman, and Abram Althouse; son, J. Glenn Dahlman. She was also preceded in death by stepdaughters, Marty Johns (wife of Fred Johns), Kay Althouse and Janet Fisher, daughters of Abe and Arlene Althouse.
She is survived by a niece, Lynette Schutts and a nephew, David Althouse (Marty).
In her later years, Joy was employed by the Pewter Shop, located in Intercourse, Pa, owned by Jan & John Bratton.
Joy was a member of the Ephrata Historical Society.
She enjoyed traveling to Eberach, Germany with her late husband, Abe Althouse plus reading historical non-fiction, spending time painting scenery, and attending Trinity Lutheran Church in Ephrata PA.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 12:00 p.m. at the Luther Acres Chapel of the Good Samaritan; 600 E Main St, Lititz, PA 17543.
