Joyce Marie Flanders Ball was born April 3, 1933, in Lincoln, Maine to Gerald and Nellie Flanders. She had three daughters: Susan Munroe, S. China, ME, Vickie Rademaker, Deltona, Fl, Rhonda Thiaville, Gainsville, Fl. There are five grandchildren: Peter Perry, Matthew Perry, and Joshua Perry, Warren Hale, and Ashley Hale Belland, and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by three sisters: Jeanette Perry of Lincoln, Maine, Rhoda Quist of Moultonborough, NH, and Pamela McEwen of Lake Worth, FL and five nieces. Joyce graduated from Mattawamcook Academy in 1952. She married Paul D. Ball in 1952 and lived in CA while Paul served in the Navy. They returned to Maine and lived in Orono, Sherman Mills, South Paris, then Norway where Joyce served as Town Clerk for 10 years. In November 1977 she moved to Orlando, Fl where she went to school for Hotel management. She was the Executive Housekeeper for many major Hotels in Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and in Virginia. When Joyce retired, she became very active with her church. Her mother came to live with her, and she lovingly cared for her. She made quilts for her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she loved puzzles and games. Joyce was the president of her condo for three years and treasurer for one. Joyce thanked The Lord for giving her all these talents.

Many fond memories from Bible Studies and playing games. She was a joy to know and associate with during the time I had the privilege.

Joyce was loved by all of the ladies of our Joy Class here at Florida Gardens Baptist Church in Lake Worth. She is greatly missed.

Joyce was especially close to my husband, Ray, and I. We thought the world of her and we´re very sad when she moved to New Hampshire a few years ago.

Rest with our Lord, Joyce. We will see you again.
