Joyce Ann Blunt

Joyce A. (Noti) Blunt passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Riverview Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was 73 years old. Joyce was the beloved wife and love of a lifetime of Jonathan E. Blunt to whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was one of nine children born to the late Bernadino and Rose (Piedolati) Noti.
She was a compassionate caretaker to the core and was a longtime employee of the Trudeau Center. Through her genuine care for the individuals she worked with, she was respected and loved not only by her coworkers but by the families of those she served as well. When she wasn't working, Joyce enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and cruising throughout the Islands. She will be deeply missed by her French Bulldog, Winston, who was never far from her side.
Joyce was the mother of Michelle Moschetti and her husband, Richard and Felicia Mather and her husband, Eric; cherished 'Mam' of Tyler Johnston, Adriana 'Rose' Johnston, Nicolas Moschetti and Joseph Moschetti. She was the sister of Steven Noti, Arlene Sherman, Brenda Kelvey and the late William Noti, Frances Turchetta, Jean 'Sal' Noti and Carol Burley. She also leaves behind her niece, Gail Cota with whom she shared a 'sister bond' as well as many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
