Joyce Marcie Brown (nee Seay), age 85, passed away on December 28, 2024 at her home in Aston, PA. She was raised in Greenville, South Carolina, and was a graduate of Carolina High School. After moving to Delaware County Joyce worked for Clover in Media, PA, Dunkin' Donuts in Aston, PA, and Frank's in Brookhaven, PA. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening, and watching sports. Above all else, she loved her family and spent as much time with her grandchildren as possible and she loved to watch them at their activities and games. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Wayne, PA.
Joyce was the daughter of the late Irene and W. H. Seay. in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank, Gene, and Bob Seay, and Sara Phillips.
Survivors: her loving husband of 67 years, James Brown; her daughters, Debbie Blithe, Kim Oldrati, Cindy Thomas; her son, Chris Brown; grandchildren, Kelly Blithe, Julie Dulak, Steven Oldrati, Nicole Lowry, Adam Oldrati, and Kasey, Alexander, and Zachariah Thomas; great-grandchild, Emerson Oldrati.
Visitation: Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Liturgy: Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA 19014. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joyce's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.

Back in the 80's, I often waited on Joyce at Springfield Federal Savings & Loan. Sometimes we remember the really nice people we were very fortunate to work with. Joyce was one. She was a lovely person. My deepest condolences to her family.
