HARTFORD - Joyce Broyles, 89, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away at Signature Healthcare of Hartford on February 14th, 2026. She was born March 10th, 1936 in the No Creek Community to the late Gabe and Myrtle Ruth Tichenor.
Mimi Joy lived such a beautiful and exemplary life that set the standard for our family. She was a homemaker, an amazing cook who was known for her chocolate chip cookies, German chocolate and Italian cream cakes, and an amazing seamstress who made clothing for her entire family. She loved her church family at Hartford Christian Church where she worked dozens of vacation bible schools. She was also a Girl Scout Leader for many years. Joyce and her husband supported Subway in Beaver Dam for 30 years at least twice a day.
In addition to her parents, Joyce, is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Bobby Broyles; a great-granddaughter, Sophia Rose Erwin; and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie (Mike) Erwin, Vickie Raymond and Melanie (Chris) Boyd; grandchildren, Zach (Sasha) Erwin, Daphne (Shane) Ralston, Travis Raymond, Tabitha Hall, Felicia (Luke) Stuard, Keara (Kevin) Everley, Seth Burden and Rena (Patrick) Shown; great-grandchildren, Zeke Erwin, Austin Hall, Taylor Carter, Eli Ralston, Aaron Ralston, Shainna Ralston, Ryan Ralston, Colby Ralston, Caleb Everley, Aynsley Everley, Reid Burden, Maddux Burden, Rose Burden, Briley (Jesse) Chinn, Banks Raymond, Derik Hall, Morgon Hall, Cole Hall, Marley Lindsey, Jesslyn Hamilton and Cailyn Hamilton; great-great-grandson, Augustus Michael Hall; and sister, Cathy Broyles Branch.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Hartford Christian Church with Bro. Scott Parker presiding. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Online messages of condolence may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
