Joyce Elizabeth Bumper "JB" born Aug 9, 1962 in Jonestown, MS to Bennie Bumper and George Strons Sr. Joyce confessed her love for Christ at an early age, and continued to make Christ number one in her life until her transition on April 9, 2024. She was a member of Inner City Church of Christ, in Nashville TN. 
Joyce attended Jonestown Elementary, Coahoma County Agriculture High School, Coahoma Junior College, and Mississippi Valley State University. Joyce graduated with her associate's degree in early education, and her bacherlor's degree in criminal justice. Joyce made use of her degrees by working in law enforcement, and in her later years as a caregiver. 
Joyce united in holy matrimony on June 17, 2021 to Charles E. Bradley in Nashville, TN
Her favorite hobbies were reading/writing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Joyce loved people, especially her FAMILY! She was the life of every party, always dancing, and telling stories. Everyone loved her and always looked for her at the parties and gatherings. 
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Bumper and George Strons Sr; granddaughter Paris Bumper, two brothers George Strons Jr, and Leonard Julion, as well as other relatives. 
Joyce leaves to cherish all of her memories, three children: Keyata Bumper Memphis TN, Jauqua Bumper (Kendell) Nashville TN, and Destini Bumper (William) Nashville TN.  Grandchildren: Jovonta Bumper, Markisha Bumper, Ty'Asia  Bumper, Memphis, Tn., D'Kiyah Goins, Kynston Harris, and Bry'Lynn Goins all of Nashville TN. Siblings: Larry Bumper Lincoln Nebraska, Brenda Bumper, Memphis TN, Wanakey Strons and Marcia Bradford both of St. Louis MO, Perry Strons Spokane Washington, Michael Strons Lambertville MI, devoted nieces and nephews Stephanie Bumper, Shatara Wiley, Emmanuel Tom & Brianna Thomas of Memphis TN; Christy Williams of Lincoln Nebraska and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, childhood and college friends.
