JoAnn Bumper (Murphy), age 65, was called home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2018. Member of St. John's Baptist Church and retired from the City of Columbus School System. JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Hallie Bumper, grandparents Gracy Williams Grayson, Hallie Alston King, Handy King, step grandparents Elma King and Eugene Grayson, daughter Erica Bumper, nephews Leon and Blake Bumper, niece Ronetta Bumper, sister-in-law Zeta Murphy. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Karlos A. Murphy; daughters, Tremia Bumper and Monica (Ernest White) Bumper; granddaughter, Takyra Bumper; grandsons, EJ and Eric White; sisters, Linda Bumper and Aileen (Ron) Hairston; brothers, Johnnie L. Bumper, John B. (Mona) Bumper, and Larry (Judy) Bumper; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Visitation 12 Noon and Home-going Celebration 1 PM Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. John's Baptist Church, 1145 Saint Clair Ave., Cols., OH. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
