Joyce Burk Obituary
Joyce served as a Registered Nurse for several area hospitals, including Lake West. After retirement she worked as a teacher at Lakeland Community College and Cleveland Institute of Medical and Dental Arts. She was a member of Cornerstone Friends Church and The Red Hat Society. A kind and loving person she could always find the good in everyone. She enjoyed taking care of her animals and especially her horses and was always busy and very hard working.
She is survived by her sons, Rich (Carleen) Pierce and Ken (Shanon) Pierce; daughter, Vicki (Jeffrey) Kopacz; grandchildren; Devynn, Chloe, Addison, Madison and Holly; great grandson Addison Jr; sisters, Sandy Glasscock, Carol Gardner and Nancy King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian; and her parents.
Friends will be received 5-7 pm Tuesday May 6, 2025 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison with a service immediately following at 7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Joyce's name to the Alzheimer's Association of Cleveland, 23215 Commerce Park, Ste 300, Beechwood, OH 44122. Online Obituary and guestbook at www.behmfuneral.com
