Born and raised in Minnesota, Joyce also lived in Las Vegas, NV for three decades before traveling a bit, then settling here in Vernon Twp. Joyce also had a diverse career from working on the family farm, becoming a nurse and starting a farm equipment business. Then switching gears in her career and becoming a paralegal.
Joyce was a true Notre Dame fan and Irish to the end!
Above all, Joyce was most proud to be the Matriarch to the gorgeous tapestry of the family that she created. She was the most beautiful powerhouse of woman and all who knew her, loved her.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Marvin Buth, her common law husband, Bill O'Dell, and her son, Larry (Beau) Buth. Joyce was the cherished mother of Laurie Story, Lisa Holmes and her husband Steven, LeAnn Tozzi and her husband Simon. Devoted Grandmother of Kristina Story, Travis Buth, Katrina Buth, Amanda Buth (Josh Butler), Rachel Tozzi, AnnaBella Tozzi, SeanPatrick Tozzi, and Dominck Tozzi. Great Grandmother to Beau Butler.

Cremation is private. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ 07462. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.fergusonfuneralhomesnj.com
