Joyce Ann Crooks, age 81 of Hendersonville passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at her residence in Hendersonville. Joyce was born on May 7, 1944 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Chalmer and Delight Crowell.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Crowell and niece, Andrea Crowell.

She is survived by her son, Ryan (Middie) Crooks; grandchildren, Chelsea (Logan) Howell and Chris Lewis; great-grandchildren, Kaisley Howell and Cohen Howell; sister, Mary Jane Favorite and husband, Nick Engler; brother, Dane (Karen) Crowell; sister-in-law, Patricia Crowell.

Joyce was very creative and talented. She enjoyed oil painting, drawing, and sewing. She adored her family and treasured the time they spent together. She was a lifelong dog lover, but most importantly she loved God. Her faith in God was the guiding force throughout her life.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Rev. Casper Koning officiating. Interment will follow the service at Beech Historic Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 19th from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.

Memorial gifts in memory of Joyce can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
