Joyce L. Desaulniers

Joyce L. Desaulniers, 77, of Baltic passed away peacefully after a long illness at St. Joseph's Living Center in Windham on October 22, 2024.
Joyce was born January 29, 1947 to Emelda and Marcel Tetreault of Baltic, who predeceased her. Joyce grew up in Baltic and was a member of the Baltic Drum & Bugle Corps, playing the Tenor Drums for many years. She graduated from the Academy of the Holy Family in Baltic in 1964. Upon graduation she entered the workforce and worked as a telephone operator for SNET. She belonged to a bowling league at the Norwich Ten Pin where she bowled with her mother and sister for several years. She had two sons and became a stay at home mom caring for her children until her illness in 1976. In her later adult years, if you wanted to see Joyce smile, all you had to do was play her Shania Twain music and concert CDs. It didn't matter if you played them over and over again, she just loved them.
She leaves behind her two sons Michael & his wife Kimberly Desaulniers and David & his wife Pam Desaulniers, her 6 grandchildren: Nicole, Hailey, Ziva, Amy, Liam and Elise and 2 great grandchildren River Rose and Ezekiel. She also leaves behind her siblings Karen Stangeland, Sandra Lee, Debra Hawks and Jacqueline Tetreault.
There will be a graveside service at ST Mary's Cemetery in Baltic on November 9, 2024 at 11:00
