She enjoyed gardening in her younger years very proud of the backyard she created with flowers, plants & trees.
Joyce was a loyal fan of John Wayne. She once got laryngitis from screaming as she ran down the street trying to get his attention when he was the Grand Marshall in a local parade.
She loved Christmas. She would decorate her house with the most immaculate decorations and hosting Christmas Eve every year with her delicious cooking.
Joyce was the dedicated wife to Clyde Dotson for 43 years. She was the loving mother to daughters Sharlotte (Kris) Barnett of Lancaster, CA, MaryLou DeMott of Washington, PA & Barbara Wooldridge of Las Vegas, NV; son James Schnore of McKeesport, PA.
Her many grandchildren: Kristine Regrut, Christopher DeMott, Jennifer DeMott, Jonathan Lewis, Anthony Quijano, Stacy Schnore, Stephanie Kirtz, Samantha Schnore, Jamie Cisneros & Michael West.
Great-grandchildren: Melissa (Lee) Horne, Gabriel Garcia, Sienna Garcia, Zoey Garcia, Noah Garcia, Jules DeMott Thompson, Taylor Gartland, Jordan DeMott,
Marissa Lewis, Allison Lewis, Ryan Schnore, McKenna Schnore, Bryson Schnore, Candace Schnore, Mariah Schnore, Ethan Schnore, Jayce Schnore, Cameron Schnore, Noah Schnore, Leilani West, Brayden West, Kamryn West & Robert Canchola. Great-great grandchildren: Mila Horne, Mallory Horne, Lillian Ashcraft, Alayah Matthews, Addison Carini & Ava Lewis.
Siblings Suella Hall, Ruth Michler & Dewey Hall. She had several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Schnore, granddaughters, Michelle Oriyano & Shauna Schnore, sister, Mary Lee Rager & brother, John Hall & son-in-law, Brian Wooldridge.
Joyces cremation is being handled by AV Crematory. A memorial service has not yet been announced. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Joyce, please visit our Tree Store.
