Joyce Bernice Dubovy, 71, of Lewiston, died peacefully on April 20, 2024 after a long illness with Alzheimer's. Joyce was born on April 22, 1952, the daughter of Vera and Romeo Breton.
She was proud to have received her degree from Husson College, she enjoyed traveling to Germany and Texas to visit her daughter and family. Joyce loved to crochet, read books, dance, play Bingo, and drink Diet Pepsi. Joyce also loved visiting with her grandchildren and hearing about all of their accomplishments. Thank you Erica for bringing Mom's beloved cat Stingray into your family.
Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Tanya Panula and husband Chris, Erica Springer and husband Jason; her five grandchildren James Dubovy, Nicholas Panula, Alex Hebert, Ashley Hebert, and Evan Springer; and great-grandchild Elizabeth McIntosh. Additionally, she is survived by her half-brother Michael Breton.
Thank you to the staff of Russell Park Manor and Beacon Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society.
