LEWISTON-Louise F. Theberge died on October 6, 2025 peacefully at her home. She was the daughter of Andre (Guy) and Stella Theberge, and was a lifelong resident of Lewiston having been born here on October 18 in 1950. Louise was educated in Lewiston first at St Joseph's School and then graduated from Lewiston High School class of 1969. She was a member of the LHS Marching Band and a top academic scholar.
Louise furthered her education graduating from the University of Rhode Island attaining her pharmaceutical degree. She was known to Lewiston residents first by working at Clark's Pharmacy, then moving on to Hannaford Pharmacy where worked many years and eventually retired from. Louise also volunteered in AARP for several years and enjoyed her time helping this organization. Louise was a musician all her life playing in the University of Rhode Island Band and Wind Ensemble along with 42 Years in the Auburn Community Band.
Passionate about traveling, she enjoyed many adventures in the USA and around the world in many countries, always accompanied by several friends and family. She was also an avid snow skier having skied at Aspen CO, Squaw Valley CA, Park City UT and many New England resorts. In the summer, she also enjoyed golf and tennis with Judy.
Another passion of Louises' was designing and creating her home gardens on Shank Street and sharing her bountiful veggies, berries and flowers with all. She loved making homemade jams and jellies along with balms from her herbs and hand crafting gifts to share on special occasions. Her family Needhams recipe was always a Christmas favorite to be shared with all. Louise was blessed to have a special group of friends in her life. Many of those continued to repeatedly visit her as her health declined.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister Judith. Her family would like to thank Rey- ah Home Care for their dedication and outstanding care of Louise. Several of her caregivers had been with her for a couple of years and developed a special bond.
Visitation will be held at Albert & Burpee on Wednesday October 15, 2025 from 5-7 PM There will also be morning visitation on Thursday October 16, 2025 from 10-11AM followed by Liturgy of the Word at 11AM at the funeral home. Yesterday

Like many of her friends, Louise and I have known each other since Jordan Jr. High. Louise was a true friend. She was always in touch and was willing to get involved in many activities. She was very intelligence and loved playing in the different bands. I´ll never forget her. She was one of a kind.
