Joyce Marie Flory, 91, passed away on May 17, 2024, at Countryside Meadows in Avon. She was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on January 21, 1933, to the late James Robert Miller and Sara Elizabeth (Fields) Miller Fannon. Joyce married Donald Russell Flory on August 24, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Joyce was a longtime member of New Life In Christ Church in Mooresville. She was an excellent homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Curtis Flory of Mooresville; daughters, Arlene Flory of Indianapolis, Darlene Stanley of Indianapolis, and Terry Basham (husband, Ron) of Avon; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow the service in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
