Joyce Gough-Shedlowski, 66, of Shinnston, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born July 7, 1959 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Everett Francis and Evelyn Virginia (Fry) Gough.
She loved having family gatherings and watching her kids swim and have fun.
She is survived by her husband of 10 years, David Shedlowski; children, Joshua Haggerty (Mindy), Virginia Haggerty Curry (Rush Cook), Jessica Knopp (Ben); grandchildren, Braden Haggerty, Cadence Haggerty, Nathan Grogg (Bella), Jaycie Grogg (Jonathan), Jayden Curry, Aleaha Bowers, and Ellie Knopp; great grandchild, Dawson Grogg; brother, Charles Gough (Debbie); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by siblings, Linda Armstrong, Ray Gough, and Dale Gough.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local food bank.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services.
