Joyce A. (Christensen) Heisler, 86, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of Clifford J. Heisler, Jr. for 56 years.
Joyce was born in Hartford on March 31, 1939 to the late Elmer A. and Katherine R. (Waters) Christensen. She grew up spending her summers swimming, boating and enjoying the outdoors at Coventry Lake. As an adult she enjoyed bowling, tennis, playing UNO, reading, and playing games on her Kindle.
Joyce graduated from Hartford High School and worked as a bank teller at Webster Bank in Berlin for many years. She had a kind heart and welcoming nature that were evident to everyone who knew her.
