Mrs. Hester was born February 14, 1945 in Fountain Head, TN to the late Clifford Sellers and Essie Mae Perdue. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, James Hester; and brother, Jeff Sellars. She is survived by daughter, Melissa Greenwood (James Teston) of Gallatin; grandchild, Hope Canter (Matt); and great grandchildren, Madelyn Canter and Mason Canter. Mrs. Hester was owner of the Red Barn and worked for Sumner County Resource Authority, retiring from the Sumner County Transportation Department after many years of service.
