Joyce Jacobsen Obituary
Joyce Adele Jacobsen crossed to eternity to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
Joyce was born in Chicago, IL, 89 years ago, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Reichel. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by: her husband, Jake; and son, Tim.
Joyce is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Gail), Brian (Teresa), and Keith (Cheryl); as well as her grandsons, Jarryn and Steven; her brother, Gerry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a mother to all who she encountered. Her whole life revolved around her family. She was also a longtime member of Meadowdale Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She helped run the KOA Campground for 25 years and helped run Jacob’s Well Christian Store.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2024 from 10 AM until 11 AM at Thomas Funeral Home.
A celebration of the life of Joyce will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2024 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Adam Ganong officiating.
