Joyce Reo Jaquay lived life on her own terms. She believed hard work solved all your problems. She started working at five years and continued until she was eighty-five. The pandemic was the only reason she stopped. She moved out on her own at thirteen working as a waitress and cook. In 1972 she started a cleaning company that still operates today. She believed in making at least one person laugh every day. She did this every day even when she was in the hospital with dementia. She will be greatly missed and always loved. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Clara Workman. Joyce leaves behind her son: William Jaquay; daughters: Pamela Stallings and Laverna Davis; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be expressed on Facebook or at SerenityFuneralCare.com
