Joyce Ann Jones

Joyce Ann Jones, 77, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Sat. Feb. 14, 2026 surrounded by her family at Four Fountains in Belleville, IL.

She was born Apr. 7, 1948 in Dexter, MO to the late Orville Ray and Ruth Ann (Schaffer) Duley.

Joyce married Leonard Jones Dec. 9, 1967 in Granite City. He preceded her in death in 1986.

She worked for Lutheran Senior Services as a laundry attendant.

Surviving are 4 daughters: Anna (Iob) Tewolde Sr. of St. Louis, MO, Janet Butchee, Ruth Holmes and Beverly Jones of Granite City; 12 grandchildren: Iob Jr. and Braden Tewolde, Brandi Jones, Krista Jones-May, Mackenzie Butchee, Nicholas Butchee, Amanda Jones, Heather, Chantel and Joe Holmes and Scott and Caleb Meyers; 10 great-grandchildren, a sister, Rosetta "Rose" Lambert of Fenton, MO and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alberta Jones, a grandson, Leonard Tewolde, a great-grandson, Timothy Pack, 3 sisters, Lois Marie Duley, Gladys "Nadine" Shafer and Mary Fail and 4 brothers, Jimmie Dale Duley, Arthur Shafer, Elgin Duley and Walter G. Duley.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. Mon. Feb. 23, 2026 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
