Joyce Ann Karr, age 63, of Lily, passed away on April 5, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky.
Joyce was born in Versailles, Kentucky, on November 13, 1961. Her loving nature extended to her human companions and her beloved dog, Jody, who was her constant companion and confidante.
Joyce spent her working years as a cashier in the retail industry. She found joy in the simple pleasure of taking care of her home and others. Joyce was a woman who truly understood the beauty in life's simple pleasures. She could often be found enjoying a good television show with her significant other, Billy, or soaking in the beauty of nature while outdoors. She was gentle and kind and had a knack for finding happiness every day.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Cox, mother Ruby Hill Cox, and sisters, Shirley Murphy and Linda Cox.
Joyce is survived by her significant other, Billy Gregory, brothers, Jackie Cox and Albert Cox; nieces, Tabitha, Krystal, Jamie, and Cheri; nephew, Bronson; and one special niece, Candy Murphy.
Visitation for Joyce Ann Karr will be on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. Greg McClain officiating.
Burial will follow at McHargue Cemetery in Lily, Kentucky.
