George Emery Fields

George Emery Fields, age 88 of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Harrison Fields; one son, Tim Fields & wife Rita of Lily, KY; three grandchildren, Brandon Fields & wife Kelsey, Kristin Morgan & husband Jarrett; Benjamin Fields; two great grandchildren, Emery Morgan, Everlee Morgan; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Laura Baker Fields; and by five siblings, Wilma Brooks, Francis Moore, Opal Fields, Ellen Fields, Lucy Fields.

George was a devoted family man and proud Navy veteran.

George served his country honorably in the United States Navy before returning home to a long and successful career as a salesman with Institutional Distributors. Known for his warmth, dedication, and easygoing nature, George built strong relationships not only in his professional life but with everyone he met.

A lifelong fan of University of Kentucky sports, George could often be found cheering on his beloved Wildcats-especially during basketball and football season. His enthusiasm for UK athletics was only matched by his love for family. He deeply cherished time spent with his son and grandchildren, sharing laughs, stories, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.

George will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering love for his family, and his ability to find happiness in life's everyday moments. His legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter will live on through all who knew him.

The family of George Emery Fields will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the USO or to the Wounded Warrior Project in George's honor. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
