Joyce Patricia Kelly of Long Beach, NY, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt, Joyce is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Moira; son, David; sister, Stella Ryan; nephews, Timothy, Matthew (Annemarie), and Robert Ryan; and her cherished grandniece, Erin, and grandnephew, Sean Ryan.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sean and Moira Ryan, and her brothers, Sean and Liam Ryan.
Born on September 23, 1956, in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, Joyce emigrated to Long Beach with her family. She retired from the Long Beach City School District where she worked in food service. She was an active volunteer in many civic and charitable organizations, including the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Kiwanis, the Knights of Columbus, and several others throughout the community she loved.
Joyce will be remembered for her generosity and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
