Joyce S. (Funk) Moyer, 90, formerly of Mertztown, died peacefully, Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Township, where she resided since 2023. She was the widow of Lee R. Moyer, who died April 20, 2017. Born in Breinigsville, Joyce was a daughter of the late Herman P. and Sarah C. (Reinert) Funk.

Joyce was a cleaning lady for many people over the years. She also loved to talk. Joyce loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Ricky L., husband of Deborah L. (Oswald) Moyer, Mertztown; Keith R. Moyer, companion of Tammy Sterner, Mertztown, and Lynn H., husband of Ilyse (Yuran) Moyer, Mertztown. Other survivors include six grandchildren: Kimberly (Moyer) Soden; Abby (Moyer) Grube; Jenny (Moyer) Lichtenwalner, Nicole (Zensky) Ort; Drew Zensky; and Christian Greiss; and ten great grandchildren: Hazel, Mazie, Anna, Jackson, Tucker, Ava, Ryder, Skye, Hunter and Iris.

Along with her parents and husband, Lee, Joyce was predeceased by her sister, Mae J. (Funk) Hertzog.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with The Reverend Dr. Jeremiah A. Sassaman, officiating. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
