Joyce Myers Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Yates Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Fort Pierce on Feb. 6, 2026.
Joyce (Leblanc) Myers, a quiet and shy soul who never met an oldie she couldn't rock out to, has passed away at the age of 69. Born on May 4, 1956, in New Bedford, MA, Joyce danced her way through life until January 23, 2026, when she took her final bow in Port St. Lucie, FL, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Joyce was the beloved wife of Howard Myers, of Port St. Lucie, FL. who stood by her side for over 30 years. She was the proud mother of her daughter Cathy Tremblay and mother-in-law to Richard Tremblay of Fairhaven, MA. Grandmother to Brayden Tremblay, Paige Enos, and Corey Bizarro. Great-grandmother to Tabor Dias, Jameson, Olivia, and Parker Bizarro all whom she cherished deeply from afar as well as Howard's sons Charles, Kurt and Kent Myers. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Georgette and George Leblanc, and her sister Susan.

Evenings in the Myers household will not be the same without Joyce's shouts of "Big money, big money!" at the TV during Wheel of Fortune or her triumphant cackles when she nailed the final Jeopardy question before any of the contestants. She was a force to be reckoned with, whether she was playing her favorite online games or grooving to her favorite oldies. She looked forward to every Friday, her date night with Howard. Those who knew Joyce knew that her sense of humor was as sharp as her Scrabble game. She could turn any frown upside down with her quick wit and infectious laugh.

While we mourn the loss of Joyce Leblanc Myers, we also celebrate the laughter, love, and light she brought into this world. Her legacy will live on in the stories shared and the melodies of the oldies that will always remind us of her. Rock on, Joyce, rock on.
