Joyce A. Nicley-age 62 of Maynardville, born February 15, 1963, passed away peacefully at home Monday, September 8, 2025, with family by her side. She was a member of Nave Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Nicley; daughter, Kimberly Nicely; grandson, Kenneth Nicley; her parents, John Henry and Artie F. Lawson; brother, Jim Lawson.

She is survived by her daughters, Chloe and Delilah Nicley; stepdaughter, Missy (Mike) Burkhart; sons, Ronnie (Kimberly) Nicley, Travis (Jessica) Nicley, Jacob Nicley; stepsons, Teddy (Jeri Lynn) Nicley and Jamie (Brandy) Nicely.; sisters, Mary R. Atkins, Charlene Bailey and Carol Diaz. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville. Funeral service 2 P.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Leon Nicely officiating with music by the McClure Family. Burial to follow at Nicely Family Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Travis Nicley, Jacob Nicley, Alan Nicley, Ronnie Nicley, Skylar Russell, Dakota Smith, Jamie Nicely, Dayrrell Weaver. Honorary pallbearers: Michael Burkhart, Liam Burkhart, Zachary Jenkins, Daniel Helton, Cody Nicley, Jeff Nicely. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
