Joyce Toth Patterson

Joyce Toth Patterson, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born in Islandton, South Carolina, Joyce was the daughter of Joseph and Lenora Toth. She later settled in New Jersey, where she spent most of her life, before finding her forever home in Oviedo, Florida in 2001.

Joyce was the loving wife of 61 years to her husband, Richard L Patterson; a proud mother to Richard and Sean, and their wives, Michelle and Nicole; a devoted grandmother to Jenna, Richard, Joseph, Michael, and Thomas; and a cherished great-grandmother to Riley.

Joyce carried us through life’s highs and lows with grace and strength — the voice we called first in both joy and crisis. She leaves behind a lifetime of love, wisdom, and unwavering support that will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, with Chaplain Mike Caroline officiating.

Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
