Joyce Reed Obituary
Joyce Reed, age 89, of Clairfield, TN, entered her Heavenly home on Friday, November 7, 2025. She was born in Norley, KY, on April 4, 1936, to the late Shelby and Ella Nelly Calhoun. Joyce attended the Fonde Church of God Mountain Assembly.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Reed, Jr.; son, Dale Reed; and grandson, Eric Reed.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kyle (Bobbie) Reed and Enos Reed; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family of Joyce Reed will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Lonnie Lyke presiding.
A graveside service for Joyce Reed will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Fonde Church of God Mountain Assembly Cemetery, Fonde, KY, with Reverend Lonnie Lyke, presiding.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
