Joyce Ann Richardson

Memorial service for Joyce Ann Richardson, 73, of Lawton will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Ms. Richardson passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Joyce was born on January 6, 1952 in Burlington, North Carolina to Harold and Beatrice (McDonald) Crumpton. She grew up in Burlington before moving to Lawton when she was 16 years old. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1970. Joyce married and had three children. She worked as a CNA and also was a caregiver for the disabled. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a Missionary, Evangelist, and also taught Sunday school for many years. She also attended Pollard Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Shunda and Kevin Foster, of Lawton, OK and Ericka and LaJuane Vanish, of Jacksonville, FL; her son, Marcus Williamson, of Lawton, OK; her sister, Angela Crumpton, of Lawton, OK; her grandchildren, Torry Richardson, Yevionna Vanish, Taliyah Vanish, and Kennedy Williamson; and her twin great granddaughters, Lareya and Luxuri Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, James Crumpton; and her sister, Regina Whetstone.
